Job summary

Omaha Marriott Downtown is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team in ensuring every guest room, public space, and back-of-house area meets the property's high standards of cleanliness and guest comfort. You will inspect spaces, provide direction, and help maintain exceptional service in downtown Omaha.

This role requires at least six months supervisory experience (or one year in housekeeping/clerical work), strong English communication, and solid organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Six months of supervisory experience or one year of housekeeping/clerical experience
• Must be efficient with computer programs
• Written and verbal skills in English to communicate with other departments and guests
• Capable of providing clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Able to exercise judgment and monitor staff performance effectively
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and corridors for cleanliness and quality, updating room status as needed
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and up to standard
• Provide organization, guidance, and communication while reinforcing the hotel's high standards
• Ensure housekeeping carts and linen closets are clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Inspect VIP rooms and randomly check rooms for quality compliance, reporting any maintenance issues
• Handle special guest requests and assist with deliveries, ensuring timely service
• Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee the smooth operation of the housekeeping department
• Report any suspicious activity or hazardous conditions to the Loss Prevention Department and respond to guest inquiries

What will you be doing?
