Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a friendly front desk associate to welcome members, check them in, answer inquiries, and keep the reception area clean and organized.

You will handle cash/credit transactions, learn club amenities, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to safe, professional service during evenings, weekends and holidays. CPR certification must be obtained within 60 days of start date.

• Ensures front desk is clean, maintained and organized at all times.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies.

• Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs
• Provide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members

Job Requirements:

• Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays
• Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
• Ability to work well with others
• Experience in cash handling and credit cards
• Customer service abilities

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking
