Job summary

Wheaton Park District is seeking a front desk receptionist at the Community Center to assist in daily operations and interact with the public. The role requires clerical duties, handling registrations and inquiries, and using the Rec-Trac software.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with at least 6 months of office experience, strong computer skills, and excellent customer service. This is a part-time, morning shift with hourly pay of $15.00 to $17.00.

Responsibilities

• Perform Rec-Trac software duties including registrations and fee processing.
• Process registrations and handle inquiries and transfers.
• Monitor and respond to online emails.
• Assist patrons with directions to Community Center locations.
• Light clerical tasks such as typing and filing.
• Open and secure the office at shift end.
• Follow district policies and provide high quality customer service.
