This individual will act as a cultural ambassador for the office and will be responsible for assisting the Workplace Services team with management of high-volume, high-touch services and programs with the goal of providing a safe, positive, productive, and "best in class" workplace experience. This highly visible position is responsible for offering the highest level of customer service while representing The Trade Desk as one of the first points of contact for all our employees, guests, and visitors.

We are multi-faceted, dynamic, and engaging, and our work touches many aspects of what contributes to the success of The Trade Desk and its employees!

What you'll do:

  • Working under the supervision of your manager with the support and oversight of the local Workplace Managers, you will act as the primary point of contact for office front-of-house support. This includes greeting clients, employees, guests, internal visitors from other offices, candidates, and vendors. This position will be at the office's front reception desk.

  • Managing daily building access for employees, candidates, and guests. Collaborate with building security and the broader local Workplace Team as needed.

  • Managing employee access cards via our internal platform for all local employees throughout their employee lifecycle.

  • Support ongoing office communications about updates, our food and beverage program, and other related activities and events.

  • Assist with coordinating office functions including mail services, employee desk moves, client and/or large team meeting room reservations, and room reconfigurations.

  • Manage office supply inventory and setup.

  • Assist with the internal ticketing system for office-related issues/feedback.

  • Regularly maintain the front of house area neat and tidy to provide the best first impression for all employees, candidates, visitors, and guests.

  • Perform daily walk throughs of each floor to upkeep office standards.

  • Assist with the employee and contractor onboarding and departure process in close collaboration with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and Workplace teams.

  • Assist with coordinating the execution of office morale activities and events.

  • Perform other tasks, duties, or special projects as needed.

  • Collaborate with global Workplace Services colleagues on best practices.

Who you are:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced office or professional work environment a plus.

  • Genuine interest in providing an outstanding level of customer service.

  • Proven history of hospitality-oriented roles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements.

  • Passion - your work matters, and you deliver it with an upbeat, positive attitude with attention to detail.

  • Grit - sometimes solutions take creative thinking and multiple iterations. You are resilient to finding solutions.

  • Proactive attitude - check in with the team early and often, alert the appropriate staff when there's an issue, and always strive to provide outstanding customer service.

  • Required to be in the office 5 days a week, Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm.

  • Able to respond after hours for emergencies and able to work outside of designated hours as needed.

  • Full knowledge of MS Office Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
