Job summary

Scenthound in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Front Desk Associate who will drive membership sales while delivering outstanding service to every dog and owner.

You will greet clients, schedule appointments, manage member profiles, handle cash, and promote add-ons, with opportunities to advance through our training path toward Management. This role emphasizes education on health and wellness for dogs, maintaining a clean reception area, and representing Scenthound values in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Sales experience and confidence (membership sales are highly valued).
• Customer service experience (retail, restaurant).
• Computer/ Technology proficiency.
• A passion for dogs and dog health & wellness!
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales through health and wellness education.
• Drive KPIs – average ticket price and rebook ratio – through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales.
• Develop membership leads; follow up with potential members.
• Answer phone calls, schedule customer appointments, manage customer profiles and records.
• Manage cash drawer – responsible for daily cash handling.
• Manage customer expectations; resolve concerns; retain memberships.
• Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep reception area clean.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager.
