Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage members and guests.
• Occasionally open or close the facility and manage key-holding duties.
• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in person and by phone.
• Offer Cause-driven tours to potential new members and listen before and during tours.
• Follow branch protocols for prospective members.
• Keep informed of branch activities and schedules to provide exceptional service.
• Handle and resolve membership concerns; inform supervisor of unresolved issues.
• Reconcile end-of-shift money from memberships, merchandise and registrations.
• Promote YMCA's character values, mission and wellness philosophy.
• Lead by example the YMCA's mission and values with participants and staff.
• Become an ambassador of the YMCA and its culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
