Wine Valley Inn in Solvang, CA is seeking a part-time Front Desk Agent/Guest Service Agent. You will greet guests, answer phones, take reservations, and assist with concierge services while providing excellent customer service in a hotel setting.

The Wine Valley Inn in Solvang is hiring a part-time Front Desk Agent/Guest Service Agent. Qualified applicants will have excellent and clear communication skills with a passion for customer service in a hotel setting. Candidate must be able to work weekends and must be flexible to work AM and PM shifts

Qualifications:

• Up- beat pleasant personality with an ability to assist a wide variety of personalities
• Ability to multi task: answer phones, greet guests, direct people
• A good knowledge of area to assist guest with driving directions, restaurant recommendations, shopping, wineries and breweries in area, transportation, etc.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests with a smile upon arrival or departure
• Answering telephones, taking reservations, directions
• Cashiering and Concierge services
• Ability to fulfill guests requests such as wake up calls, forgotten amenities
• Ability to listen to guest concerns and document any maintenance issues or special requests brought to your attention.

This is a position that will also learn to be Breakfast Attendant, could lead to full time employment

Rate of pay is $20 along with sick pay, holiday pay, and 401k plan with matching!
