Job summary

TownePlace Suites Jacksonville is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests warmly on arrival and during their stay, and to handle check-in/out processes with efficiency and hospitality.

You will help guests with requests, maintain awareness of room rates and promotions, and manage mail as required. A positive attitude, teamwork, and professional communication are essential for success in this fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must listen, understand, clarify and resolve concerns with co-workers and guests.
• Must convey information clearly.
• Must have hospitality and guest service mindset.
• Must be 18 years or older to perform this job.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Arrive and clock in on time; never work while off the clock.
• Clock in/out for breaks as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/Check-out efficiently and timely.
• Contact guests after check-in to ensure satisfaction and needs.
• Understand room rates and promotions; be aware of daily rate schedule.
• Receive and note all incoming mail per shift checklist.
