Tempo by Hilton Del Mar invites you to join the opening team as a Front Desk Agent. You will check guests in and out quickly and courteously using the property management system, processing payments, and providing information and welcome service to guests and visitors.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of customer service experience, can stand for 8 hours, and possess basic computer skills, including email and hotel management software.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Basic knowledge of computers and software including email, word processing, spreadsheet software and hotel management system.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Registers guests, issues room keys, provides information on hotel services and room location, and answers phones promptly.
• Upsells rooms to maximize hotel revenue.
• Processes cash and credit card transactions accurately in line with policies and reports.
• Issues, controls and releases guest safe-deposit boxes.
• Communicates outstanding guest requests or issues to management for follow-up.
