Tempo by Hilton Del Mar is opening its doors on the West Coast and seeking a friendly bartender to join the opening team. You will set up, maintain and operate the bar, delivering engaging service to our guests.

You will greet guests, prepare drinks to brand standards, know menu items, promote daily specials, and enter orders in the POS. The role emphasizes teamwork, responsible service, and contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of bartender experience required.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• Able to stand 8 hours and lift 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials and menu items.
• Prepare drinks to industry and brand standards.
• Maintain knowledge of service timing standards and serve guests accordingly.
• Know food pairings and beverages that complement menu items.
• Promote daily specials and menu items.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, ingredients and prep time.
• Perform responsible alcohol service per brand standards.
• Work in a team environment and assist other team members as needed.
• Enter all orders into the POS.
