Job Summary

Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes guest accounts upon departure, ensuring an exceptional stay in line with hotel standards.

Essential Job Functions
  • Greet guests warmly, listen to requests, respond appropriately, and provide accurate information.
  • Complete registration via computer, confirm guest details, select rooms, and code keys or coupons as needed.
  • Verify credit cards, handle cash, record payments, and post charges accurately.
  • Answer phones professionally, relay messages, and assist with mail or packages.
  • Close guest accounts at checkout, resolve issues, and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Address guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve conflicts calmly and efficiently.
  • Follow safety, security, and emergency procedures; maintain a neat work environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and assist team members as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with calculators and basic math.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate computer systems accurately.
  • Good observation skills for emergency detection.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and move continuously; lift up to 25 pounds; perform physical tasks as required.
