The Hyatt Place Miami Airport West-Doral is seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. Bilingual skills are highly preferred.

Overview

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for assisting guests with check-in and check-out, answering and processing all phone calls, and handling special requests for services or information, in accordance with standard policies and procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Resolve guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests regardless of busyness or time of day.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, hours, room rates, packages, promotions, and daily house count.
  • Handle financial transactions accurately, including managing assigned bank.
  • Answer phones within 3 rings with proper etiquette.
  • Process guest check-ins and verify registration information.
  • Collect payments and handle guest luggage escort.
  • Manage overbooked or walk-in guests appropriately.
  • Record wake-up calls, handle faxes, and communicate guest requests to relevant departments.
  • Resolve discrepancies on room status reports and process check-outs and adjustments.
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar hotel role.
  • Basic computer skills required.
