Holiday Inn Oakbrook Terrace is seeking a friendly, professional front desk agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in, issue keys, and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions. In this role you’ll balance accounts, post charges, and reconcile daily activity, while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Upselling rooms when appropriate and courteous phone manners are essential.

Qualifications

Join our team at Holiday Inn Oakbrook Terrace!Holiday Inn Oakbrook Terrace is a full-service hotel featuring 227 guest rooms, an indoor pool, flexible meeting spaces, and a Bar Louie restaurant. Located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, we are currently seeking motivated and hospitality-focused individuals to join our front desk team.As a front desk agent, you will assist guest with their request and balance accounts throughout. The front desk is the first point of contact and the first impression for guests. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.Duties and responsibilities:Welcome guest in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.Check guest in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.Answer phones in a prompt, and courteous manner.Up-sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue.Check guest out, including resolving any late or dispute charges.Post daily room charges to folios.Perform the final reconciliation, print a recap of the day's activities, and clear the system.Perform other duties as assigned.Computer knowledgeHotel experience but not requiredFriendly, professional, great customer service.Responsible and reliableSchedule flexibilityAbility to work on a fast pace environmentWe strive on bringing full service hotel accommodations to create the perfect stay for our guest and work environment for our associates.
