Job summary

Myriad Hotel is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Responsibilities include assisting guests with parking, offering local recommendations, arranging transportation and tours, and coordinating with housekeeping to prioritize room readiness. Prior experience in hospitality is preferred.

Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Compensation: $16/hr

Job Summary

Myriad Hotel is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The Front Desk Agent is the first point of contact for the guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. In addition to these duties, the Front Desk Agent will also be responsible for assisting guests with parking and providing directions to local attractions. The primary goal will be to create a welcoming and memorable experience for the guests by delivering personalized service and addressing their needs and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of room types, rates, and hotel services to provide accurate information to guests.
• Offer recommendations and assistance to guests regarding local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and other services.
• Arrange transportation, tours, and reservations based on guest requests and preferences.
• Handle guest requests for amenities, additional services, or special arrangements, ensuring prompt and accurate fulfillment.
• Collaborate with housekeeping to prioritize room readiness and address guest requests for room service or maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Proficiency in using hotel management systems and software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $16.00 - $16.00 per hour
