Basic Function

The Front Desk Agent provides professional customer service, managing check-in/out, guest settlement, and interactions with guests, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Two years of college
• Two years’ experience in service/hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Check-in guests, noting and fulfilling special requests, ensuring proper credit
• Complete guest transactions accurately
• Promote hotel programs
• Assist other departments and communicate with management
• Know emergency procedures and maintain house bank
• Follow procedures for charges, refunds, deposits
• Gather guest feedback via comment cards

Additional Functions

• Cross-train in PBX, concierge, bell desk
• Assist other departments as needed

Environment

Office setting with guest interaction, constant contact.
