Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor is essential in ensuring the smooth overnight operation of a AAA Four Diamond Hotel Casino Resort, balancing administrative duties and guest service excellence. The role involves balancing the day’s accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the overnight operation runs smoothly to start the next day. The position is responsible for safety, security, and guest satisfaction during the overnight shift.

In This Role

• Conduct the nightly audit using the hotel's automated PMS to reconcile financial activities.
• Review and adjust guest accounts, verify charges, and ensure accurate financial closing.
• Provide front desk services during night hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and resolving issues.
• Deliver exceptional customer service aligning with AAA Four Diamond standards.
• Generate nightly reports and prepare management reports on occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor property security via surveillance and coordinate with security personnel.
• Act as the primary contact for emergencies, executing procedures and coordinating with security and casino management.
• Maintain communication with hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all hotel policies, ensuring compliance with financial and privacy standards.

Essential Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as a front desk agent in an upscale hotel; night audit experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS, accounting software, and IT systems.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy in handling financial data.
• Strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission license.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements

• Normal vision, ability to see color, distinguish symbols.
• Ability to read, write, and operate data input devices.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment.
• Ability to access all property areas.
• Ability to sit for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Conditions

Work is in an office or front desk environment, possibly noisy or warm/cold, with minimal staffing overnight. Tasks may include standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
