Job summary

HealthCARE Express is seeking a friendly and organized Director of First Impressions to greet patients, verify information, and support the front desk operations. You will answer phones, assist with questions, verify insurance, and handle cashier duties with confidentiality in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and basic computer skills as you help maintain patient records and assist in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, and organized with strong communication.
• Experience in medical or clinical settings and HIPAA knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and a team-first mindset.
• Basic computer skills and comfortable handling patient information.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify information in our computer system
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously
• Assist patients with questions and address concerns professionally
• Verify insurance and maintain accurate patient account information
• Perform cashiering duties, post charges, and provide receipts
• Scan patient documents and reports into the system
• Monitor and replenish clinic forms and front desk supplies
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA requirements
• Work professionally with patients, providers, and fellow team members
• Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed
• Take initiative and identify opportunities to help the clinic and team succeed

HealthCARE Express is looking for a reliable, energetic, and outgoing individual to join our Director of First Impressions (D.O.F.I.) team!

Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

As the face of our clinic, our D.O.F.I. team plays an important role in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. We're looking for someone who is friendly, professional, organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and can stay organized in a busy environment. Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills are important for this role.

Experience in a medical or clinical setting and knowledge of HIPAA are helpful, but we're also looking for someone with a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-first mindset.
