Job summary

You will room patients, take vitals, document symptoms, assist with procedures, and ensure accurate charting and communication with providers. The role emphasizes patient safety and seamless clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program such as NHA and AMCA is required.
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Experience: At least one year of related medical assisting experience in a physician’s office or other clinical setting, or equivalent training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, symptoms, and visit reason; document accurately.
• Assist with medical procedures and re-process instruments.
• Provide injections and immunizations as ordered; manage prescriptions and referrals.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality; triage urgent medical needs and coordinate care.
