Job summary

MarinHealth seeks a Medical Assistant - Front/Back Swing to support clinicians and deliver high-quality patient care. Under supervision of the Clinical Lead and Practice Leader, you will gather patient information, take vitals, assist with procedures, and help manage documentation in the EMR.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certification (NHA/AMCA) and BLS, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of experience in a physician’s office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program (NHA/AMCA) required.
• BLS Certification required.
• At least one year of related medical assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, document symptoms, and support visits.
• Provide injections, immunizations and assist with procedures.
• Triage urgent medical needs and manage referrals with EMR tasks.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, greet patients, and verify insurance.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and clinic supplies.
