Job summary

MarinHealth Medical Center is hiring a Medical Assistant - Front/Back Swing to support clinicians under the supervision of the Clinical Lead and Practice Leader. The role involves rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a Medical Assistant certification (NHA or AMCA), and BLS. Experience with Allscripts EMR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification: Medical Assistant from NHA/AMCA; BLS required.
• Experience: 1 year in physician’s office or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Room patients, record vitals, document symptoms, and manage visits.
• Provide injections, immunizations and other patient care services as ordered by provider.
• Assist with procedures and triage urgent needs as required.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and coordinate referrals and lab results.
