Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring a Produce Team Member to support receiving and preparing product, maintain the Produce floor and displays, and assist customers in line with WFM standards.

You will stock shelves, break down deliveries, follow safety rules, and participate in training. No prior retail experience required; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Familiarity with grocery Produce operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Follows health, sanitation and safety procedures and keeps a clean working environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties with accurate pricing.
