Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the Produce department by receiving and preparing product, stocking shelves, and maintaining displays. You will help with deliveries, pricing accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

No prior retail experience is required. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing most of the day, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Whole Foods Market offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with pricing and displays.
• Ability to learn product knowledge, including organic vs conventional produce.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by stocking and front-facing cases and checking codes.
• Assists in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maintains clean, sanitary environment and proper safety practices.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures accurate pricing.
