Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, weigh, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats. You’ll assist the meat cutter, package freshly cut items, inspect deliveries, rotate by expiration dates, and keep cases clean and stocked.

Provide helpful service to Members and maintain safety standards daily. Ideal candidates have prior meat/deli experience, familiarity with wrapping machines, and are at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of wrapping machines (automatic or hand) preferred.
• Prior experience in a meat and/or deli department preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receives, weighs, wraps, labels, and merchandises meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Assists the meat cutter and helps package freshly cut meats and seafood.
• Inspects deliveries and ensures quality; rotates stock by expiration dates.
• Maintains clean, sanitized cases and displays; upholds club policies and safety standards.
• Provides friendly service at all times and supports members’ questions and needs.
