Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, a member-focused retailer, is seeking team members for the Meat department. You will receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandize meats, assist members with questions, and help maintain clean, safe display areas across meats, seafood, and cheeses.

A strong team mindset and commitment to member satisfaction are essential. Knowledge of meat handling and wrapping is preferred, with 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• Prior experience in a meat/deli department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, weighs, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and rotates stock by expiration dates.
• Maintains all meat department cases clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assists Members by answering questions and recommending products.
• Supports club policies, safety standards and teamwork.
