Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a Meat Dept position in the United States. You will weigh, wrap, label, and stock a variety of meats while assisting Members with questions about products. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and accurate merchandising of all meat, seafood, and prepared foods.

Strong experience with fresh and processed meats and wrapping machines is preferred. Must be 18+ and capable of working in a fast-paced team environment with a focus on member satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats preferred.
• Previous wrapping-machine experience preferred.
• Experience in meat/deli departments is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and ensures quality standards.
• Rotates meats and maintains cases for all meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses.
