Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the Meat Department. The role includes receiving, rotating, wrapping and merchandising meats and assisting members with product questions. You will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and positive member experiences across the department.

Responsibilities include weighing, packaging, labeling cuts, and ensuring stock levels while following club standards and policies. Growth and teamwork are emphasized in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh and processed meats.
• Experience with wrapping machines.
• Experience in meat/deli department.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspect and store meat upon delivery.
• Rotate meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the meat department.
