Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department team member to receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandize fresh and prepared meats. You will assist Members by answering questions, making product recommendations, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across the meat department.

The role involves stocking cases, rotating products by expiration, and following club policies. Minimum age is 18, with prior meat/deli experience preferred, and a fast, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in meat/deli is preferred.
• Understanding of fresh and processed meats is helpful.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members by answering questions regarding meats, poultry, and seafood.
• Weights, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Inspects and stores meat upon delivery and maintains case stock.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment, fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
