Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant (DLT) to assist in leading the Fresh Foods Department, supervising up to 80 associates and supporting the Department Manager in direction, coordination, and performance.

You will interview and train associates, plan and direct work, evaluate performance, and address issues, while upholding Harris Teeter's standards and delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department.
• Interviewing and training associates.
