Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk. You will assist customers with fresh, ready-to-eat meals and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, displayed, and presented with top quality and cleanliness. You’ll rotate stock, prepare special orders, and operate deli equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent; grocery/restaurant experience preferred.
• Be dependable, reliable and customer friendly.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to take directions.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, displayed, and clean.
• Rotate and replenish products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain it in good condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe deli area and comply with health regulations.
• Inspect and log products for quality and temperature.
