Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced deli team. You will help customers choose healthy options, prepare fresh meals, and maintain clean, attractive deli displays. You’ll operate slicers and other equipment, handle special orders, and ensure food safety and quality throughout your shift.

The role focuses on friendly service, reliability, and flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays in a busy supermarket environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ years old.
• Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Dependable and reliable with a friendly attitude.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and proper deli presentation.
• Fill, rotate, and display deli products.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales and other deli equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe deli area and equipment.
• Receive and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
