Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to join its kitchen team. You’ll assist customers with healthy choices, prepare fresh meals, and maintain a clean, organized deli area.

You’ll rotate products, handle special orders, and operate slicers and other deli equipment while upholding safety and sanitation standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Formación

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with the ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and team participation.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs., up to 4 hours per shift.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the deli area.
• Operate deli equipment safely and follow company procedures.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain Food Handlers permit.
• Work in coolers and freezers.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Provide high‑level customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales, and other deli equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
