Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to help customers choose healthy options and prepare fresh meals in a fast-paced deli. You will handle slicing, packing, and displaying deli items while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with orders, rotating stock, and preparing party trays with attention to quality and service. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. for up to 20 ft, up to 4 hours.
• Stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Maintain clean, safe deli area and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, cutting tools, scales per standards.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for quality and temperature control.
