Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent or suitable education/experience.
• Dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Outgoing and friendly, able to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Perform hygiene and safety tasks; operate deli equipment safely.
• Work in different temperature environments (cooler/freezer).
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in making healthy food choices by preparing “fresh and easy meals”.
• Providing customer service and ensuring deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented, with cleanliness.
• Filling, maintaining, and rotating products and displays.
• Preparing special orders and party trays.
• Operating meat/cheese slicers, ovens, microwaves, and other deli equipment following standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe deli area and equipment; cleaning shelves and floors.
• Receiving, inspecting, and logging products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality.
