Sprouts Farmers Market seeks a Deli Clerk to join a fast-paced deli team in a bustling store. You will assist customers with healthy food choices, prepare fresh meals, and ensure deli items are well presented.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. You will maintain cleanliness, operate slicers and ovens, handle special orders, and help rotate stock while delivering excellent service in a friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Be dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and the ability to interact with customers.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and operate deli equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy foods and preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness.
• Fill, rotate, and display products; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and keep the area orderly and sanitary.
• Receive and inspect products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
