Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, LLC is hiring a Deli Clerk in a fast-paced grocery setting. You will assist customers, prepare fresh and easy meals, and maintain a clean, efficient deli area.

The role requires 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior grocery or restaurant experience is preferred and food-safety responsibilities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/restaurant experience preferred.
• Dependable and reliable with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and team.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Able to follow safety and sanitation rules and obtain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Prepare and present deli items, package products, and maintain cleanliness of the deli area.
• Rotate and stock products, fill orders, and handle special requests.
• Operate deli equipment safely and follow company procedures.
• Maintain safe, sanitary working conditions and proper documentation of shipments.
