Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced grocery team. You will assist customers with healthy, ready-to-eat meals and operate deli equipment while maintaining product displays and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include preparing orders, stocking and rotating items, and providing friendly service. Candidates should be able to lift up to 70 lbs, stand for long periods, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean deli area.
• Operate deli equipment and ensure safety/Weighs and Measures compliance.
• Work in varying temperature environments (cooler/freezer).
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices with fresh and easy meals.
• Provide high-level customer service and ensure deli items are well prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves and other deli equipment per standards.
• Keep deli area clean, safe, and sanitary and equipment well maintained.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
