Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers and prepare fresh deli offerings in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will maintain cleanliness, handle orders, and ensure quality and presentation of deli products across the department.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is needed. Daily meals and a team-driven atmosphere are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable.
• Strong communication and ability to interact with customers.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making healthy food choices by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Maintain deli area cleanliness and ensure proper preparation, packaging, and presentation of deli items.
• Rotate, stock, and display products; fill special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales) and follow company procedures.
• Receive and inspect shipments for temperature, quality, and accuracy.
