Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to help customers choose healthy options and prepare fresh meals in a fast-paced deli. You will operate slicers and other deli equipment, maintain cleanliness, and assist with special orders and party trays.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and strong customer service, with flexible hours including nights and weekends. Growth opportunities and benefits are offered in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand up to 8 hours per shift.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options by preparing fresh and easy meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, displayed, and the deli area remains clean.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment following company standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary deli area and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
