Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers with healthy food options and prepare fresh meals in a fast-paced deli setting.

You will handle deli products, operate slicers and other equipment, and maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the department. A high school diploma and reliable, friendly demeanor are required, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in grocery, restaurant, or related field preferred.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting healthy options and preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli area is clean, well-organized, and properly presented.
• Rotate and replenish deli products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment (slicers, ovens, microwaves) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with safety regulations.
