Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/restaurant experience.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with ability to interact with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand up to 8 hours per shift.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary deli area and operate deli equipment safely.
• Food Handlers permit required and upheld.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy foods and preparing fresh meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, labeled, and presented.
• Fill, rotate, and display products and displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers and other deli equipment following safety standards.
• Keep the deli area clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Receive, inspect, and log product shipments for temperature and quality.
