Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain a clean deli area. You will operate slicers and other deli equipment, handle special orders and party trays, and ensure proper product rotation and presentation.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced grocery environment. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent and grocery/restaurant experience or an education/experience mix.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs., stand for long periods, and work flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to take orders and interact with customers.
• Maintain clean, safe deli area and operate slicers, ovens, and other deli equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh and easy meals.
• Ensure deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented with high cleanliness standards.
• Fill, rotate, and display products; prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Receive and inspect shipments for accuracy and quality.
