Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk in a fast-paced environment. You will assist customers, prepare fresh meals, and maintain Deli displays with attention to cleanliness and safety. The role involves operating slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales, and other deli equipment while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent or a combination of education and experience.
Dependable and reliable with a friendly, positive attitude.
Strong communication and team interaction skills with customers.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Good phone and reception skills; able to take special orders.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Deli area; follow safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist customers in choosing healthy foods and preparing fresh meals.
Ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness.
Fill, maintain, and rotate products and displays.
Prepare special orders and party trays.
Operate deli equipment per company standards.
Maintain a clean, safe deli area and equipment.
Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy.
