Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Deli Clerk to assist customers with healthy food choices, prepare fresh meals, and maintain the Deli department with care and cleanliness.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will operate slicers and other deli equipment while ensuring safe, sanitary work areas and accurate shipment receipts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh meals.
• Ensure Deli items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain displays; prepare orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and keep the area clean.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with safety/health regulations.
• Receive and inspect shipments for quality and accuracy.
