Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking personnel for unloading, sorting, and moving packages in a high-volume facility. The role requires safe operation of equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in varied weather conditions.

You will assist with pallet buildup/breakdown and coordinate with the ULD repair vendor where needed. Shift information indicates early morning hours with a pay rate of $18.79 per hour; a valid driver’s license is required and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level without assistance.
• Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces.
• Climb stairs and ladders as required at the work location.
• Communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently to move packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between the company and ULD repair vendor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
