Job summary

FedEx is seeking a warehouse associate to safely operate equipment for moving packages and heavyweight freight, including pallet buildup/breakdown and liaison with ULD repair vendors as needed.

This role requires physical capability (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking long hours) and the ability to work in a noisy environment. Part-time shift Tue-Sat 5:00 AM - 9:00 AM; valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
