Job summary

FedEx Group in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operator to safely operate equipment used for moving packages and heavyweight freight. You will assist in pallet buildup/breakdown and serve as liaison with ULD repair vendors as required.

Full-time, shift Tue-Sat early hours with valid driver's license required. Expect to work in varied weather and potentially in a noisy environment; training will cover safety and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and maneuver heavier loads with equipment or assistance.
• Walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages and heavyweight freight.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
