XPO, Inc. Cameron, MO is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor to lead all freight operations, supervise hourly staff and manage workloads. You will develop procedures to meet evolving department demands, enforce policies and coach team members on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Knowledge of LTL industry, hazardous materials regulations and DOT rules.
• Willing to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet department needs.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and act as primary contact for workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll and admin functions.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily operations goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Coach and develop employees on safety rules and quality requirements.
• Direct a team to meet or exceed productivity goals.
• Participate in safety and engagement committees.
