XPO is seeking a Freight Operations Manager in Kernersville, NC to oversee daily service-center operations, improve delivery performance, and manage staffing and costs. This role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination with customers and teams to sustain high-quality service.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of related experience, supervisory background, LTL industry knowledge, and familiarity with HazMat/OSHA/DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry.
• Experience with hazardous materials regulations, OSHA and Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations.
• Bachelor's degree, 4 years of related work experience or equivalent military experience.

Responsabilités

• Handle the efficiency and effectiveness of the delivery service provided to our customers.
• Guide the complete daily operations of the service center.
• Oversee revenue, profit and cost controls.
• Ensure proper staffing, utilization and management of personnel.
• Mentor and manage all personnel working at the facility.
