Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Account Coordinator to support Freight Brokers with day-to-day freight operations and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with load creation, data entry, and shipment documentation, and maintain accurate shipment information in the TMS.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and attention to detail to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, transportation, customer service, or related field preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support for Freight Brokers and assigned customer accounts.
Assist with load creation, data entry, and maintenance of accurate shipment information within the TMS and brokerage systems.
Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, pickup and delivery updates, and service-related inquiries.
Track and monitor freight movements to ensure on-time performance.
Coordinate appointment scheduling, paperwork collection, and shipment documentation.
Assist brokers with carrier onboarding and compliance documentation.
Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
