Job summary

Cox Transportation Logistics LLC in the United States is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage customer communications, tracking shipment status, and coordinate delivery schedules.

You will monitor daily freight activity, update load statuses in the TMS, review transport documents, and collaborate with Account and Fleet Managers to meet service levels. Competitive benefits include medical, vision, 401k, paid vacation and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, service issues, and transportation updates.
• Monitor daily freight activity and proactively communicate delays, missed appointments, service failures, OS&D, and other operational concerns.
• Track and update load status accurately through the TMS and other transportation operating systems.
• Process and monitor EDI transactions and customer freight requirements as applicable.
• Review bills of lading, proof of delivery, and other transportation documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain daily operational reports and assist with tracking key performance metrics, including on-time pickup and delivery.
• Identify recurring service issues and communicate opportunities for operational improvement to Account Manager.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Account Manager and Fleet Manager to ensure customer expectations and service requirements are consistently met.
• Maintain required paperwork and accurately update weights, times, and other shipment information for all dedicated shipments.
